Day 1
Located in the scenic farmland of northern Indiana is a substantial and flourishing Amish community. The farmstead has become the focal point of Amish Acres, a heritage resort echoing the simple life of Amish society through historic interpretation, dining, lodging, theatre, countryside tours, fresh bakery items and handmade local crafts. Upon arrival we see the documentary film, Genesis and Exodus of the Amish. Our accommodations for the next two nights are in the heart of Indiana Amish Country. In the evening we will enjoy the award winning Thresher’s Dinner, a family-styled feast of Amish county favorites – from home-baked hearth bread to platters of cider-baked ham and roast beef.
Included Meal: Day 1 – Dinner

Day 2
This morning we will take a wagon ride along the broad fences on the gravel lanes into Amish Acres’ woods, which lends a nostalgic moment to the visit, followed by the Historic House and Farm Tour, where you’ll find unique bargains you won’t want to leave without. Lunch will be in the Restaurant Barn. We wouldn’t leave the area without learning how to make their famous Shoofly Pie, followed by a tour of the countryside. We have a special treat for dinner – Haystacks. What fun this will be! After dinner we will be entertained with a musical at the Round Barn Theatre.
Included Meals: Day 2 – Cont. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3
Get your shopping bags ready, because we are off to Shipshewana and the largest flea market in the Midwest. If hunting for treasures through the 1,000-plus flea market vendors is not enough to make you drop, you can walk across the street to the Trading Place Antique Gallery, or walk the short distance to the wide variety of shops downtown. Included Meal: Day 3 – Cont. Breakfast
