Day 1
We head north to the Wisconsin Dells. This evening you will enjoy unique entertainment, authentic Scandinavian hospitality and dinner at the Thunder Valley Inn.

Day 2
This morning, we have a peaceful boat cruise through the Dells, traveling along the Wisconsin River. The cruise includes two scenic shore landings, including a stroll through the hidden canyon at Witches Gulch. Our journey this afternoon takes us north to the Great Northwoods area of Wisconsin.

Day 3
Today, we drive to Bayfield and take the ferry to historic Madeline Island. Our locally guided tour begins in the historic village of LaPointe. The trip also includes the Madeline Island Historical Museum, lunch at an island restaurant, Woods Hall Craft Shop, and Lake Superior, where you can dip your feet. We’ll tour Bayfield and stop at an orchard to taste some local harvests and visit their unique antique and gift shops.

Day 4
Our three-hour cruise of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore takes us past historic Raspberry Island and Devil’s Island Lighthouses and to see the famous Devil’s Island Sea Caves. Enjoy a fish boil lunch at Greunke’s Restaurant. A stop at the Northern Great Lakes Visitors Center gives us insight into the region’s cultural and natural history.

Day 5
This morning, we head for Duluth. Our fully narrated sightseeing cruise will take us past the world’s largest ore docks, grain elevators, lake freighters and foreign ships from around the world. We come back south for our evening in Warrens.

Day 6
This morning, at the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center, you will see, touch and taste Wisconsin’s No. 1 fruit crop. We will also have a driving tour past cranberry marshes and other points of interest. This afternoon we arrive at House on the Rock. Tonight, it is dinner at the Fireside Dinner Theatre where we will see the fabulous new musical, “Ring of Fire,” a tribute to Johnny Cash.

Day 7
This morning we visit Historic Auto Attractions, where exhibit rooms highlight automobiles, clothing and memorabilia related to entertainers, gangsters, politicians and race car drivers. On display are presidential limousines, vehicles featured in films and TV shows and cars once belonging to a variety of public figures. Sit back, relax and enjoy the journey home.
