Tour Plan


Day 1 | Las Vegas

Our flight takes us to Las Vegas. There will be time to enjoy sights on the famous Strip before a stop to enjoy the Fremont Street Experience, a covered five-block area filled with exciting things to see and do. Dinner is included this evening at the Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant. (D)

Day 2 | Hoover Dam - Lake Mead

After breakfast this morning we travel to Hoover Dam, where you will enjoy a guided tour. After, enjoy a luncheon cruise on Lake Mead. (B,L)

Day 3 | Flagstaff

After breakfast at our hotel, we will travel to Flagstaff, Arizona, and visit the Walnut Canyon National Monument, located East of Flagstaff. (B)

Day 4 | Grand Canyon

Today we take a trip to the Grand Canyon. We will be met at the entrance of the park by an experienced guide. We will enjoy various views of the Canyon before returning to our Flagstaff hotel. (B)

Day 5 | Albuquerque

After enjoying a scenic drive to Albuquerque, New Mexico, our first site to visit is the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. The Center features the history, art and culture of New Mexico’s 19 Indian Pueblos. The pueblos are represented through displays of weaving, pottery, jewelry, clothing and photography. After touring, dinner will be in the Pueblo Harvest Cafe. (B,D)

Day 6 | Albuquerque - Balloon Fiesta

A spectacular start today is the Mass Ascension of more than 700 balloons at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. After the launch, we will travel to the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway. The Tram travels 2.7 miles from the base of the foothills to the top of Sandia Peak, suspended over rugged boulders and rocky mountain landscapes. Lunch will be included. (B,L)

Day 7 | Sky City - Balloon Fiesta

After breakfast, our next visit will be the Acoma Pueblo and Sky City Cultural Center. Atop a 367-foot mesa, the tour includes the San Esteban del Rey Mission, the largest mission in the state. Lunch will be included at the Center. This evening we will see a balloon illumination event. There will be food vendor sites available for dinner. (L)

Day 8 | Bernalillo – Santa Fe

Today we will travel to Bernalillo to view the Coronado State Monument named for Francisco Vasquez de Coronado. The monument preserves the ruins of Kuaua Pueblo. Afterwards, we move on to Santa Fe, where we will have a locally guided driving and walking tour of Santa Fe highlights. The Santa Fe Plaza, built in 1610, is still the life and heart of the city. As we return to our hotel, we drive the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway linking Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

Day 9 | Alburquerque

Fly out of Albuquerque having experienced dazzling natural beauty, diverse cultures, history and an unforgettable International Balloon Fiesta. (B)
