Tour Plan

Day 1 | Ohio

Today we get acquainted with our traveling companions as we journey through Illinois, Indiana and Ohio to our accommodations for the evening.

Day 2 | New York City

We arrive in the big city today. In New York City, it’s location, location, location! Our hotel is located within easy access to midtown theaters, attractions and shops. Unpack your bags, because we stay for 4 nights. Tonight we have dinner at Ellen’s Stardust Diner, which was opened in 1987. The diner is regarded as one of the best theme restaurants in New York and is known for its singing waitstaff, which have gone on to have successful careers on Broadway theatre and American Idol. (B,D)

Day 3 | Downtown

A step-on guide joins us for a city tour that includes Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Trump Tower, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Wall Street, the World Financial Center, Battery Park, Central Park, Chinatown, Little Italy, and St. John Devine. This afternoon and evening, you have an opportunity to relax, check out the shops and enjoy lunch and dinner on your own. (B)

Day 4 | Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island

This morning, we take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, where it all began for many of our families. You will have excellent photo opportunities of the “Grand Lady.” This afternoon is free to relax or purchase your Broadway show tickets for tonight. We dine tonight at New York’s Marriott Marquis, which is in the heart of the Broadway Show district. (D)

Day 5 - Downtown

Our day begins with an opportunity to view The Today Show from the street just outside the studio. Bring a sign to hold up. As they scan the audience, you just might get on television! You will have some free time to explore on your own before we have lunch at the award-winning Churrascaria Plataforma. This afternoon we will go to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, where we remember those who lost their lives at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. This evening we visit the Top of the Rock Observation Deck for a spectacular view of this marvelous city sparkling with lights. (L)

Days 6 and 7 | Ohio to Return Home

Traveling scenic highways through the mountains of Pennsylvania, we arrive in Ohio for the last night of our tour. On Day 7, we travel home with wonderful memories of all we have seen, done and experienced in the city “like no other.” (Day 7 - B)
