Days 1 and 2: Dayton - Buffalo

We begin our tour traveling east to Dayton, Ohio. Day 2: This afternoon will be spent at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We overnight in Buffalo, New York. (Day 2 - B)

Day 3: Letchworth – Watertown

This morning at Letchworth State Park, we meet our guide for a tour of the “Grand Canyon of the East,” followed by lunch in the park at the Glen Iris Inn. We continue to Watertown, New York for the evening. (B,L)

Day 4: Adirondacks, New York

Today’s destinations include: the Adirondacks, Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, the Ausable Chasm, Lake Champlain, and overnight in Burlington, Vermont. This evening enjoy a complete buffet dinner onboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen Cruise. (B,D)

Day 5: Vermont – New Hampshire

This morning we tour Ben & Jerry’s and learn how they make ice cream. At the Morse Farm Maple Sugar Works, we learn the process for making Maple Syrup. We’ll have lunch in the Capitol building in Montpelier before our drive through Hope Cemetery in Barre, Vermont. We continue through Vermont and the White Mountains of New Hampshire to our overnight in Tilton. (B,L)

Day 6: Seabrook

This morning, we will have some time to rest and relax at the hotel before we begin the days activities. We then travel to Rye, NH and board M/V Granite State for an afternoon of whale watching. Some whales that we might encounter are 40-ton Humpback Whales, 70 ft. Finback Whales, Minke Whales and Atlantic White-sided Dolphins along with other marine life. After our cruise, we enjoy a New England Specialty, a lobster dinner at a local restaurant (other options available). (B,D)

Day 7: Lexington & Concord – Boston

We start our extensive touring at Lexington and Concord. Then in Boston visit Beacon Hill, the Freedom Trail, the Boston Common, Faneuil Hall, and Old North Church. Time permitting, we also visit the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides). We overnight in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. (B)

Day 8: Allentown

We will spend this morning at the Submarine Force Museum. The Essex Steam Train & Riverboat journey begins at Essex Station where a steam locomotive pulls vintage coaches through New England towns to Deep River Landing, where we are escorted to the Becky Thatcher riverboat for a cruise along the Connecticut River. Upon return to the landing, the train welcomes passengers for the return trip back to Essex Station. A box lunch is provided during the journey. This afternoon we continue to our overnight in Allentown, Pennsylvania. (B,L)

Days 9 and 10: Hershey – Columbus

Get ready for Hershey, Pennsylvania and Hershey Chocolate World. We travel across the state to visit the Flight 93 National Memorial, located at the site of the crash of United Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked on September 11, 2001. Later in the afternoon, we continue to our overnight in Columbus, Ohio. Day 10: Sit back, relax and enjoy the trip home. (Day 9 - B / Day 10 - B)
